The nearest golf course is Bovista 1 mile west of Lagos. Palmares golf course is 3 miles east of Lagos. Ten miles east of Lagos is the famous Penina golf course designed by Henry Cotton. Palmares

This course is sited on a south facing hill overlooking the lovely bay of Lagos with open fairways. The views as you walk around this course are quite breathtaking perfectly blending beach and mountain scenery. The clubhouse is set between the ninth and tenth holes and provides a fantastic view over the 25km of the Atlantic coastline.

This impressive 18 Hole Championship golf course was designed by Howard Swan MSc, a past president of The European Institute of Golf Course Architects.

The setting of this course is in the most western part of the Algarve. Designed by Pepe Cancedo, one of Spain's most respected architects. Its widely varying holes run through valleys with fantastic scenery.
